Ray Bowman - Old-Time Musician
Although not as active (or hairy!) as he once was, Ray still is a presence in the international old-time music scene. As a solo performer or a member of bands like the Bald Knob String Band (below,) the International Harvesters or Cloverbottom, Ray has left his mark on traditional music and on the genre's journalism as a contributor to publications such as Old-Time Herald, The Devil's Box or Sing Out! Most recently, Ray has been playing guitar for the traditional band Skipjack.
